Before there was Bolder K9, there were German Shepherds.
Long before we were handcrafting dog gear from our home in Washington, we were fostering dogs through True North German Shepherd Rescue, opening our home to shepherds that needed a second chance. Over the years, we've fostered more than 50 German Shepherds ourselves and personally helped place more than 200 into loving homes.
Those dogs taught us more about dog gear than any catalog, trade show, or product manual ever could.
When you spend that much time around German Shepherds—especially here in the Pacific Northwest—you learn very quickly what matters, what doesn't, and where gear succeeds or falls short.
