It started with Theo. A rescue puppy who managed to destroy a brand-new leash in record time. Instead of replacing it again, we decided to make something stronger — gear built for real life with real dogs.

What started as a practical solution turned into a craft. We learned to build our own gear: simpler, stronger, and designed to last through training, adventure, and everyday chaos.

Built inside rescue culture. At the same time, we were deeply involved with True North GSD Rescue — volunteering, fostering, and adopting. We began making gear for fosters, volunteers, and adopters before Bolder K9 became a business.

Giving back isn't marketing — it's foundational. Because Bolder K9 was born out of rescue, supporting dogs in need has always been part of the mission. Every order helps support rescue organizations, volunteer work, foster efforts, and dogs getting a second chance.
