You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placement without additional charges, as long as the order has not been made, packaged or shipped. After 24 hours, we do not accept cancellations. If you believe you have extenuating circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible at info@bolderk9.com.
We do not offer refunds or free replacements for accidental damage such as chewing or wear and tear. We do offer replacements for any defects to materials. We do offer exchanges on our harnesses.

How do I care for my BioThane® gear? +
BioThane® is waterproof, odor-resistant, and easy to maintain. Most dirt wipes off with warm water and mild soap. For heavier messes, soak in diluted oxiclean (unscented), then rinse and dry thoroughly. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to strong DEET-based insect repellents, which may affect the coating over time.
What if my dog chews through an item? +
Our gear is designed for durability, but no product is chew-proof. Damage caused by chewing is not covered under warranty. If something happens unexpectedly, reach out — we’re always happy to review the situation and see what options may be available.
What is considered normal wear and tear? +
Normal wear includes cosmetic signs of use such as minor scuffs, scratches, fading, or coating wear on hardware over time. Black hardware may naturally show silver underneath with regular use — this is expected and cosmetic only. Wear from chewing, misuse, improper storage, or unsafe restraint is not covered.
How much is shipping and how long will my order take? +
Our production time for most orders is 2-3 weeks unless otherwise specified. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 1–5 business days depending on location. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout, with free shipping available on orders over $75. Need it sooner? We also offer expedited processing options when available.
How are your products packaged? +
Orders are packaged simply and intentionally to protect your gear while minimizing waste. We focus on practical packaging that gets your order safely to you — nothing excessive.
Do you offer returns or exchanges? +
Because most items are handmade to order, we generally do not accept returns on custom gear. If there is a sizing issue, please contact us — we’ll always do our best to help find a solution. If there is an issue with workmanship or a mistake on our end, we’ll make it right.
Can I cancel my order? +
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After that, production may already be underway and cancellations are no longer guaranteed.
Do you offer wholesale pricing? +

Can BioThane® get wet? +
Yes — BioThane® is fully waterproof and made for muddy trails, rainy walks, dock diving, and everyday adventure. It won’t absorb water, hold odor, or stay soggy like traditional materials.

Contact Us →I ordered a 6 foot biothane rope hands free leash with frog clips. It is so lightweight, minimal, and comfy. I am 5'5" and have a standard size doodle. I can wear it cross body, around the was it, or hook both frog clips to his collar and then have a 3 foot leash. He can not lay down while it is worn, which is what I wanted. He could with a 6.5' leash. It's perfect for us as a service team.

Great product. Just be mindful of how far your dog is from your hands when ordering the size. The neck width, and height of the dog will shorten the leash. It is okay thought because this 4 foot leash has become a perfect traffic leash for us for high traffic obstacles/ scenarios. Nothing on the sellers part, just something to keep in mind when ordering length of the leash for your dog!

I'm officially hooked on BolderK9 products! Bought this lead for my job as a dog handler at a kennel-free daycare/boarding facility and it's been a lifesaver. Super easy to wipe off dirt from muddy paws, and so lightweight that I barely feel it across my chest when it's not in use. Smooth cinching (the clasp that tightens the lead, I'm not sure what that's called), no drag or friction. Bought this lead in Bright Orange with navy blue PVC wrap for extra visibility when in nature.
Technically did not need customer service but shop owner reached out to update me on delivery status which is super helpful.
