Trailblazer Braided BioThane® Pull Tab
If you're about to hit the trail or work on off-leash obedience, then this is the tool for you. It's small, lightweight, and doesn't have a handle, meaning it won't get caught in your pup's legs. Additionally, there is an attached o-ring at the end, so it can be easily clipped and unclipped from any standard leash as needed. This is the Trailblazer Pull Tab.

Profits are donated to True North GSD Rescue, a Pacific Northwest based dog rescue.
Our leashes come standard with 3/4" super heavy genuine BioThane® and heavy duty stainless steel (with respective silver/gold/black plating) welded o-rings, so they are attachable to other leashes. All of our screws are solid brass plated with colored nickel to match clip offerings.
The overall length of this product is about 8-9 inches.

You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placement without additional charges, as long as the order has not been made, packaged or shipped. After 24 hours, we do not accept cancellations. If you believe you have extenuating circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible at info@bolderk9.com.
We do not offer refunds or free replacements for accidental damage such as chewing or wear and tear. We do offer replacements for any defects to materials. We do offer exchanges on our harnesses.

How do I care for my BioThane® gear? +
BioThane® is waterproof, odor-resistant, and easy to maintain. Most dirt wipes off with warm water and mild soap. For heavier messes, soak in diluted oxiclean (unscented), then rinse and dry thoroughly. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to strong DEET-based insect repellents, which may affect the coating over time.
What if my dog chews through an item? +
Our gear is designed for durability, but no product is chew-proof. Damage caused by chewing is not covered under warranty. If something happens unexpectedly, reach out — we’re always happy to review the situation and see what options may be available.
What is considered normal wear and tear? +
Normal wear includes cosmetic signs of use such as minor scuffs, scratches, fading, or coating wear on hardware over time. Black hardware may naturally show silver underneath with regular use — this is expected and cosmetic only. Wear from chewing, misuse, improper storage, or unsafe restraint is not covered.
How much is shipping and how long will my order take? +
Our production time for most orders is 2-3 weeks unless otherwise specified. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 1–5 business days depending on location. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout, with free shipping available on orders over $75. Need it sooner? We also offer expedited processing options when available.
How are your products packaged? +
Orders are packaged simply and intentionally to protect your gear while minimizing waste. We focus on practical packaging that gets your order safely to you — nothing excessive.
Do you offer returns or exchanges? +
Because most items are handmade to order, we generally do not accept returns on custom gear. If there is a sizing issue, please contact us — we’ll always do our best to help find a solution. If there is an issue with workmanship or a mistake on our end, we’ll make it right.
Can I cancel my order? +
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After that, production may already be underway and cancellations are no longer guaranteed.
Do you offer wholesale pricing? +

Can BioThane® get wet? +
Yes — BioThane® is fully waterproof and made for muddy trails, rainy walks, dock diving, and everyday adventure. It won’t absorb water, hold odor, or stay soggy like traditional materials.

Contact Us →This is our fifth (???) order with BK9 and they NEVER disappoint! My service dog needs to work off leash for her tasks (DPT, retrievals, "find", crowd control) and these tabs help us get there and not freak ppl out. Additionally, when she gets to run off leash, it's nice to be able to grab the tab if I need to. I prefer the frog style clasps because of my hand issues, and the loop is nice, too. My dog is a bit shorter (Portuguese Water Dog, F, 21" at the shoulder) and before we got a black and an orange loop one with a twist clasp but no bueno for my hands some days. These braided ones are shorter, and the braiding helps with grip. Fantastic, I'd buy all the colors if I could!

I use this to attach 2 leashes to a waist connector so my leashes don't get tangled. It's absolutely wonderful, beautifuly crafted and takes the headache out of walking two dogs at once that never seem to go in the same direction.

This pull tab/traffic lead is essential for dog owners focused on serious training. I use this lead every time I take my German Shepherd out in public or into high-traffic areas. The lead is made of high-quality material, and its carabiner is rated at 4Kn (approximately 900 pounds of force), meaning it can safely handle my dog’s weight and strength. This is what I needed for my large goldendoodle when he is in the backyard and gets distracted by people walking by. I can easily take hold of this 8" pull tab and persuade him away from the people and put his attention elsewhere.
