You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placement without additional charges, as long as the order has not been made, packaged or shipped. After 24 hours, we do not accept cancellations. If you believe you have extenuating circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible at info@bolderk9.com.
We do not offer refunds or free replacements for accidental damage such as chewing or wear and tear. We do offer replacements for any defects to materials. We do offer exchanges on our harnesses.

How do I care for my BioThane® gear? +
BioThane® is waterproof, odor-resistant, and easy to maintain. Most dirt wipes off with warm water and mild soap. For heavier messes, soak in diluted oxiclean (unscented), then rinse and dry thoroughly. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to strong DEET-based insect repellents, which may affect the coating over time.
What if my dog chews through an item? +
Our gear is designed for durability, but no product is chew-proof. Damage caused by chewing is not covered under warranty. If something happens unexpectedly, reach out — we’re always happy to review the situation and see what options may be available.
What is considered normal wear and tear? +
Normal wear includes cosmetic signs of use such as minor scuffs, scratches, fading, or coating wear on hardware over time. Black hardware may naturally show silver underneath with regular use — this is expected and cosmetic only. Wear from chewing, misuse, improper storage, or unsafe restraint is not covered.
How much is shipping and how long will my order take? +
Our production time for most orders is 2-3 weeks unless otherwise specified. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 1–5 business days depending on location. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout, with free shipping available on orders over $75. Need it sooner? We also offer expedited processing options when available.
How are your products packaged? +
Orders are packaged simply and intentionally to protect your gear while minimizing waste. We focus on practical packaging that gets your order safely to you — nothing excessive.
Do you offer returns or exchanges? +
Because most items are handmade to order, we generally do not accept returns on custom gear. If there is a sizing issue, please contact us — we’ll always do our best to help find a solution. If there is an issue with workmanship or a mistake on our end, we’ll make it right.
Can I cancel my order? +
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After that, production may already be underway and cancellations are no longer guaranteed.
Do you offer wholesale pricing? +

Can BioThane® get wet? +
Yes — BioThane® is fully waterproof and made for muddy trails, rainy walks, dock diving, and everyday adventure. It won’t absorb water, hold odor, or stay soggy like traditional materials.

It took some time to arrive but that’s ok. It was crafted well but my pup still managed to break through the threads pretty quickly. Not worth the $35 I paid.

Fantastic dog toy! Super well made. My puppy absolutely loves it.
Our girls love these yet destroyed the handles in the first 5 minutes.
I opted for to order the chew with the handle. If you have a power chewer I do t recommend the handle; ours chewed theirs off in 5 minutes.

First time buying this type of tug toy for my wife’s guide dog. He loves tug and would go through the rope type easily. He really took to this toy and really enjoys the play. This already looks to out last the rope toys.
The toughest dog toy I have found. My dog and I love playtime with this!!!! She a destroyer of all things, and this has lasted the longest. I even got one for her best doggie friend and he is similarly smitten.

This is a very strong tug for my 8 month old border collie. He loves it. I don't let him keep it as a chew toy because I think he would ruin the handle. We use it in training. It is quite hard right now, but I'm sure with use it will be softer.
