Well made, beautiful colors, fast delivery! I feel so much safer with my older dogs having this breakaway collar. They aren’t as agile as they used to be and getting their leg stuck in their collar when scratching their neck or ear is a real concern! But not anymore :0)

I watched my dog, jump up and catch her collar on a high fence post and just hang there. I was right there so I was able to lift her off but now if she is home or out in the yard, she wears the breakaway collar. These collars are beautiful, well-made, and reliable. Can be used as non-breakaway for walking due to the double loop system.. I can’t wait to eventually order a martingale or other type of collar just for walking… these collars are so great, they are a bit addictive: the color schemes are fantastic.

We love the colors and breakaway feature but we ordered it too big! I wasn’t expecting much when I emailed Jake to see if we could fix it at home. But he went above and beyond and had us ship it back so they could fix it. It’s perfect!

Initially, the collar appeared to be of good quality, however, on the very first day of use (5 min after clipping it on) a piece of plastic sheared off the breakaway as my dog (Blue Heeler) was shaking a soccer ball. I will be either seeking a higher quality breakaway from a different company or returning to an adjustable collar. Extremely disappointing for the cost.

Purchased 2 Quick-Release Breakaway collars and encountered a major issue with the breakaway buckle: While my dogs were playing with each other at the park, one of their collars unexpectedly came off via the breakaway buckle. My dogs weren't rough-housing with each other so I was surprised it came off so easily. Contacted the company and was told that that the breakaway buckle was working as intended. I decided to give it another go, and the collar came off yet again during playtime at the park. Co. said no modifications to existing collars are possible, so I'm now left with 2 unusable collars (I don't want to constantly worry about their collars coming off during normal, everyday play). To those who want a collar that stays secure during regular park play, I would caution against this particular model.

This is my second time ordering from here and I loved every item I have gotten. They’re very quick with responding to any questions. Really great quality and really beautiful products. I also love that they are helping out a rescue.

100% worth it. So lucky I switched to a breakaway collar. It literally saved my dog’s life the same week I got it. Came home to my dog missing her collar. I used my phone to find her AirTag and found the collar stuck on a branch. She would have chocked if it was a regular collar. Looks exactly how I expected and the colors are so cute also.

We love the matching collar and leash set!! The owners were super responsive to questions and package was received on time! The colors are true to the pictures! The collar fits our pup perfectly!

Seems to be great quality, and the colors are very close to how they look on the website. I ordered the upgraded hardware, but if I ordered again I think I would order the reinforced hardware. My dogs are ~60# and I would like there to be a little more force required to open the breakaway.

Awesome collar! Exactly what I expected. The breakaway is pretty strong with the Velcro attached correctly! Bolder k9 products continue to impress!

I recently found a video where a woman said that their dog passed away from not being able to break away from their collar. Leading the poor dog to choke, and I started to do some research because I don’t know what I would do if that happened to my dog. I found this brand Bolder K9 and looked into their products and bought the quick release breakaway collar, I have to say this is the best collar I have ever bought. Well worth the money, it is so well made and the material is so soft. It definitely is quick release which I like when I take off my dog’s collar I don’t have to sit there and try to take it off. I absolutely fell in love with this collar and would definitely buy again in the future. 10/10 5 STARS!!!!

I received the new collar, and the quality is outstanding. It turns out that I didn't get the measuring tape snug enough in my dog's neck, which led to a collar size that was too big. Jake, the owner, was extremely helpful and understanding, and worked with me to correct the issue. If only the customer service was this good everywhere I shop!

Quality of these collars is excellent. (purchased three of them) I have had Duralon collars in the past but this is my first time buying a breakaway collar made of similar material. The breakaway feature really does work, but if you grab the collar while the dog is gently moving, it will release. I did not get the extra velcro with my purchase that increases the resistance as stated in the product details, so I am not sure if that would fix my concern. Aside from this, I can rely on the collar releasing and preventing another dog from being strangled to death when not home.

Breakaway buckle detaches way too easily.

First off, it arrived 2 weeks after it said it would. Only reason I even had any idea of that is that I reached out to them. The color I asked for was out of stock. No communication from the company until I reached out and they offered another color.

Second issue, I ordered the upgraded buckle. It literally falls off just when my dog shakes, no force at all. We have lose it probably 5 times in the couple weeks we have had it and is has fallen off numerous more times. She has not played with any other dogs or anything that has made it come off. It is just when she rolls or shakes. I guess I should learn that that is barely upgraded.

I’m so happy they were able to make the breakaway collar Fi series 3 compatible! It looks beautiful. I chose the quick release version and swapped the buckle for the Fi tracker but I think the adjustable collars are really the way to go because the sizing is so precise and I ordered it maybe an inch too large and had to do a DIY adjustment at home.

There’s no chance that this breakaway mechanism will fail in an emergency. I heard horror stories and chose the lightweight breakaway clasps and they do breakaway very easily, if Maple rolls on grass the collar will come off. That’s probably why they say they recommend reinforced, which is probably what I’d choose next time!
